"LIKE BIRDS WITHIN A WICKER HUNG"
Songs of the Spirit by Patience Worth
This web site is dedicated to the memory
of Patience Worth, who through the mediumship
of Pearl Lenore Curran, transmitted from some
other reality, outstanding high quality literature
of unexcelled beauty and philosophical thought. Over a period of 25 years beginning in 1912,
Mrs. John H. Curran, a St. Louis Missouri
housewife, developed an enduring relationship
with Patience Worth, a 263 year-old spirit of an Englishwoman of Dorsetshire England. Together they wrote acclaimed poetry and novels which
remain to this day an enigma.
